Anti Aging Fruits: The Dark Ones are the Best

Many women want to ‘grow old gracefully’.  Basically, they want to look as young as they can for as long as they can.  Who can blame them?  In this world, it is a societal necessity for a woman to look younger than her years.  All of the added stresses that have been compounded by this society work against a woman looking youthful as they grow older and many women rely on pretty creams and solutions that cost an immense amount of money to help their skin appear younger.

 

The best, and cheapest, way to achieve a healthy appearance is to start on the inside; a person’s diet goes a long way to ensure that they stay fit and healthy and it will show.  Eating anti aging fruits is a good way to start.  Recently it has been found that the high nutritional value of the black fruits is excellent for the skin.  These include grape seeds, black grapes, blackcurrants, mulberries and dark plums.

 

Grape seeds have resveratrol, tannin and flavonoids, which are nutrients that act as natural anti-oxidants.  These nutrients work in direct relation to tightening and toning the skin.  Grape seeds, themselves, are too bitter though; drinking wine, in which the grapes and seeds are mixed with alcohol, maximizes the anti-aging and anti-oxidizing effects of these seeds.

 

Black grapes have large amounts of potassium, calcium, iron, phosphorous and the vitamins C, B1, B2 and B6.  There are also huge amounts of amino acids in black grapes and these are mandatory for human body functioning; these grapes benefit not just our skin but our health as well.

 

Blackcurrants contain large amounts of phosphorous, vitamin C, anthocyanin, calcium, phenols and many others.  The oil produced from the blackcurrant seed possesses anti-dryness and anti-inflammatory properties.  It has been known to be used in acne treatments because it helps stop acne outbreaks.

 

Mulberries contain the largest amount of minerals; they also contain other nutrients such as vitamins, amino acids, organic acids and others.  Mulberries are highly beneficial for increasing a body’s metabolism.  A higher metabolism leads directly to skin cell reproduction more efficiently.  When new cells are generated to replace the older ones, skin appears, and is, healthier.

 

The dark plum is another one of the miracle anti aging fruits.  This fruit may not be as common but they have excellent anti-aging nutrients such as potassium, manganese, vitamin B2, magnesium and phosphorus.  Eating fruit is good for the health but it provides a wealth of anti-aging factors as well.
