is ascorbic acid the same as l.ascorbic acid, and why can i not disolve the crystals,

The stickiness is from the glycerin, so you can reduce that until you like the consistency. You will want to make sure you replace whatever glycerin you leave out with more water so your Vit C isn’t too strong. HTH:)
I made this with the camu camu and it’s very sticky on the skin. Anyone else with this problem? Maybe I should use more water?
What’s the concentration of your formula, 10% ???

the solution was brownish when you put it in the bottle, doesn’t that mean that the vitamin c has already oxidized ?
