Q&A: In desperate need of GREAT book Recommendations?

Anti Aging Moisturizers

Question by Unbelievable: In desperate need of GREAT book Recommendations?
I’m 20, so no Tween, highschoolish, Twilight, or Harry potter book recommendations please.

I really want to get through insane stacks of -good- books this summer. I’m definitely not a sci-fi kind of book reader. Anything else is fair game I guess.

(I particularly like quirky, unique and creative books, anywhere from “Hope in a jar” to “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society” types of books)

Any great books you read and absolutely adored?

host-stephanie meyer is a sci-fi book and it’s completely different from twilight and it’s categorized as a adult book..it’s her first adult book actually.

also jodi piccoult always chooses interesting topic to write about and she’s really good at it (best selling author) one of my favorites of hers is My Sister’s Keeper..the movie comes out on the 26th of this month =]

mine??

Forever Jack – Thief of Heaven by Glenn Hefley

I just got it yesterday and it is great. It is listed as a Dark Fantasy, or Dark Fiction, but other than the shadows and thief part I’m not sure it is. The writing is good, though. And the cats are cool! :-)

If you like quirky/unique books try Still Life With Woodpecker or any other books by him (I can’t remember the author’s name at the moment) He’s definitely out there.

Also, read Chuck Palachunik (I know I spelled that last name wrong). He wrote Fight Club, which is a great book. If you like him, go for his earlier books, I didn’t find his newer books to be as good.
