   This cream has turned my dry, dull, flaky skin around. I’ve read other reviews that say it’s for people “of a certain age” but I am only 28 and I have had thirsty skin for years that nothing ever seemed to help. This is the first cream that I have used that actually hydrates my skin, and I only put it on once a day. I have used up my mom’s jar that she gave me and got online tonight to buy a jar from amazon BUT I noticed a review that mentioned it was very pricey on amazon and they were right! Buy this directly from the Creme de la Mer website – it’s only $110 for one ounce!

   This product, no matter how little I used, was way to heavy for my skin. i broke out. It was like an oil slick on my face. the gel creme is superb compared to this.

   Although La Mer is a good cream, the fact that it contains MINERAL OIL prevents it from having any positive benefit to skin, long term. Mineral oil is one of the cheapest oils and has been taken out of most creams because it dries out skin and clogs pores among other things.
   
   If you looking for a cream that will benefit your skin and not just temporarily moisturize, look elsewhere.
