What is a good moisturizer for dry skin?
by Anti Aging Moisturizers on Tuesday, April 6th, 2010 | 7 Comments

I have dry skin because I’m on the swim team. And I really hate it because my skin peels and you can totally tell when I put on my makeup. So I want to know your guys opinion on a good moisturizer.

Ponds dry skin cream! I went to the dermatologist who really reccomended it for me (my skin peels around my eyes and nose, but sometimes i break out) He told me to buy this lotion (I got it at Fred Meyer, so I’m sure you could get it at Walmart or Target) It was 5 bucks, too. Its a pretty moisturizing lotion, so what I do is put it on and then splash my face with water and then pat my face with a towel. Its still moisturizing, but just a bit lighter. With all the chlorine you mess with, you may not even need to do that. Its good on sensitive skin and has no smell at all. I’ve been using it for almsot a week and already see a difference.

Giagurl, I recommend what I use; Preve extreme anti aging by Isabella Pelle. It’s made specifically for fine lines/wrinkles. It has the highest concentration of “peptides” active ingredients to fight them. Also has the highest concentration of the best known moisturizer, hyaluronic acid. This has kept my skin baby smooth. http://www.isabellapelle.com/antiagingcream.html
Last month they came out with a more concentrated version of Preve called Cura. It’s everything Preve except they concentrated it to extreme. I got it 2 weeks ago; it’s excellent. What you need to do is decide which one is best for you. I recommend both. Hope this helps you.
